The dust flew and the dominance continued.

Paris, Ill. kart ace Buddy Wilson swept both specials during the Spooktacular season ender Oct. 5 at Ben Hur Speedway.

Wilson, a multiple time track champion and 2024 feature winner, collected the Spooktacular 100 for the Predator class, topping seven other karters in the 100-lap journey on the 1/3-mile dirt oval. Earlier in the evening he won the 30-lap LO206 Cemetery Run special.

Casey Sparks followed in the Spooktacular with Kyle Phelps rounding out the top three. Those two flip flopped in the Cemetary Run.

Wilson was the only driver on the lead lap in the Spooktacular 100. Sparks bested Phelps by more than three seconds for the runner up spot. The margin of victory was nearly a photo finish in the LO206. Wilson topped Phelps by .2 second.

The event wraps up the 2024 Ben Hur Speedway season. Tickets are now on sale for the awards banquet scheduled for Nov. 16. For more information, log on to the BHS Facebook page.
