Witham requires face coverings

Posted

LEBANON — Beginning Thursday, face coverings will be required before entry into all the Witham Health Services locations. If you do not have a face covering on you risk not being allowed entry. These restrictions are in effect for the safety and well-being of our patients and staff.

Patients will continue to be screened upon entry using a screening questionnaire and temporal body temperature. No visitors will be admitted with the exception of: end of life care, special circumstances, Labor, Delivery and Post-Partum Unit (One pre-determined visitor will be allowed).

At Witham we are following CDC and State guidelines along with a clear, consistent plan to keep our patients and staff safe and healthy throughout all our facilities, offices and hospital. We are taking extensive measures so you can be assured that your safety is a top priority as we continue to provide your healthcare. All services are open normal hours and are ready to serve you. It’s also important to know our ER is open 24/7 to treat your emergent needs both in Lebanon and in Whitestown at Anson. Witham Health Services, hospital, physician offices and facilities are open and here for you, however you want, in-person or with a virtual visit.

Witham Health Services apologizes for the inconvenience to our patients and visitors, but we know the restrictions are necessary to protect and provide a safe environment for our immune-compromised patients and for our staff. The restrictions remain in effect until further notice.
