The Women’s Legacy Fund recently distributed grants to three local organizations for 2020. A total of $12,690 was granted to Crawfordsville Adult Resource Academy, Purdue Extension Montgomery County and New Beginnings Child Care.
The Women’s Legacy Fund is dedicated to funding innovative ways to improve the lives of women and children in Montgomery County. Members make an annual gift to the fund through the Montgomery County Community Foundation, and then select grant recipients after hearing presentations from selected nonprofit applicants.
The Women’s Legacy Fund will organize its annual fall educational meeting on a topic affecting women and children. Information will be posted to its Facebook page (“Women’s Legacy Fund — Montgomery County, Indiana”) by August. Any women interested in joining are welcome.
