Tigers sweep Chargers in DH

After getting rained out Tuesday, North Montgomery softball traveled to Lebanon and played two against the Tigers in a Sagamore Conference double-header.

In the first game, the Chargers were down 8-0 after two innings before showing signs of life and scoring four runs. Faith Shirar and Cascie Keller would collect the other two hits for the Chargers.

In game two, without Ramey on the mound, was a much different story. Things quickly took a turn for the worst for North Montgomery. Lebanon downed the Chargers 25-2 in five innings. They scored nine runs in the second, seven in the third, a single run in the fourth before adding another eight runs in the fifth.

With the pair of losses the Chargers fall to 2-13 (1-8 SAC). They will be back on the diamond Friday as they host Clinton Prairie.
