Andrew “Andy” M. Bosch of Crawfordsville, and formerly of the Champaign, Illinois area, passed away peacefully with family by his side on April 8, 2024, at IU Hospital in Indianapolis.

Andy was born July 8, 1952, in Nurnberg, Germany, to Henry and Margareta Bosch. He was preceded in death by both of his parents, baby brother Jared Bosch, brother Randy Bosch, nephew Jay Primer and great neice Madison.

He is survived by long-time partner and fiance Mary A. Clouse; daughter Kira (Jake) Pirtle; two grandsons, Tyler and Gage Casey; five step-children; sisters, Janet Woodworth (Bill Brannock), Sharon Bosch and Debbie (Todd) Whitt; and many neices, nephews, great neices and nephews,  cousins and other family members.

He also leaves behind his beloved cats.

Andy grew up in the Broadlands and Champaign area spending his early years riding Harley Davidson motorcycles and racing stock cars. He was an avid car enthusiasts who spent his later years living in the Crawfordsville area with his fiance Mary, working on his many hot rods, and traveling to car shows. He made many friends, and acquaintances within the car world, and relationships that he treasured dearly. He was also a member of the National Street Rod Association.

A visitation will be held 1-3 p.m. April 20 at Freese Funeral Home, Tolono, Illinois. There also will be a  memorial car show, planned in his name, in Waynetown. Details are incomplete at this time.
