Posted

The Beef House Dinner Theatre is pleased to announce its 28th season. The 2024 season will focus on celebrating the talents of their incredible 24 member performing company. Featuring a mix of actors, singers and musicians the BHDT has designed a season to bring out their best, showcase their individual talents and create a memorable experience for their patrons.

BHDT veteran, Christian Cunningham, kicks off the season paying tribute to musicians who left us too soon in Unforgettable, April 12-14. Cunningham will be joined on stage by some of his fellow company members to bring you exciting musical collaborations of the songs that have become the soundtrack of our lives, featuring music made famous by Sam Cooke, Karen Carpenter, Elvis, Buddy Holly, Marvin Gaye, John Lennon, Luther Vandross, Michael Jackson and many more.

Noah Acree and Kayla Dillman will “twist again” as Johnny and Diana in a brand-new summer adventure featuring tunes from the 50s and 60s, Teen Angels: Let’s Twist Again, July 5-14. If you saw them in Teen Angels last summer this is your chance to hear a brand new selection of songs made famous by the teen queens and teen idols of the 50s and 60s. They will be joined on stage by Jericho Maniquis, Laynie Ferriman, Cory Talbott, Owen Burns and Camdon O’Herron.

BHDT regular Ky’Eshia Maze and her talented friends return for the revival of R.E.S.P.E.C.T., July 18-21, with even more music and dancing. This talented quintet of singer/dancers includes Maze, Alexis Johnson, Ja’Nyla Phipps, Lexxus Tetter and Ter’ryan White. They brought down the house and raised the roof at each performance last year and are sure to again as they celebrate the music of Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, Gladys Knight, Diana Ross, Tina Turner and many more singing divas.

Our funny ladies, including Nancy Henderson, Jodi Prosser-Muller and Jennifer Woodrow, bring you the hilarious and heart-breaking, Steel Magnolias July 26- Aug. 4. Truvy’s (Kena Clark) salon is Chinquapin, Louisiana’s go-to place for a beauty fix with a hearty side of gossip. Along with her overeager assistant Annelle (London Clark), Truvy pampers her small-town clients with hairdos, manicures and all kinds of unsolicited advice. Anybody who’s anybody is a regular: There’s the doting M’Lynn (Prosser-Muller) and her soon-to-be-married daughter Shelby (Dillman), the moody Ouiser (Woodrow) and the well-to-do widow Clairee (Henderson). Through witty banter and wisecracks, this hodgepodge group of women form friendships as strong as steel, which they are forced to lean on when tragedy strikes.

In the second half of their season, Logan Kirby, Kena Clark and Chrissy Sparks celebrate all things country with Classic Country Cavalcade, Sept. 20-29 and many company members come together for the 2024 Beef House Christmas Show, Dec.13-22.

The 2024 Beef House Dinner Theatre performing company also includes musicians Jeff Davis, Chris Taylor, Aaron Bouslog and Todd Gallagher.
