Beef House Theatre opens season with ‘unforgettable’ performance

COVINGTON — The Beef House Dinner Theatre will kick off its 2024 season April 12-14 with, Christian Cunningham: UNFORGETTABLE.

Since his award-winning performances on NBC’s The Today Show over a decade ago, Cunningham has honed his smooth, smokey baritone and his heartfelt, emotional vocal delivery.

Christian will pay tribute to singers who left too soon including, Sam Cooke, Karen Carpenter, Marvin Gaye, Luther Vandross, Patsy Cline, Michael Jackson, Buddy Holly, John Denver, Elvis, John Lennon and many more. 

Cunningham’s arrangements will breathe new life into songs many love, and the audience won’t want to miss some unforgettable musical collaborations. Kena Clark, Logan Kirby and Jodi Prosser-Muller are scheduled to appear on stage with Cunningham. They will take the audience on a musical journey with a selection of songs including “You Send Me,” “Suspicious Minds,” “Superstar,” “Over the Rainbow,” “Unchained Melody,” “Sunshine on My Shoulders,” “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” and more.

UNFORGETTABLE also features all live music from the Beef House band with Chrissy Sparks on piano, Chris Taylor on guitar, Aaron Bouslog on drums, Jennifer Woodrow on keyboard and Todd Gallagher on bass.

Reservations are $65 per person which includes the show, buffet dinner, soft drink (tea, lemonade or Coke products), individual tossed salad, yeast rolls with strawberry jam, dessert, fees and tax.  There are no hidden or additional fees to purchase tickets, however gratuity is not included.

Doors open at 6 p.m. Eastern with an 8 p.m. show on April 12. Matinees will be presented April 13 and April 14 with doors opening at 12:30 p.m. Eastern and show at 2 p.m. The meal begins serving 10 minutes after the doors open.
