Beverly Joan (Utterback) McCollum, 89, of Crawfordsville passed away Saturday, Oct. 28, 2023, at Bickford.
She was born Dec. 29, 1933, at Wallace, to the late Charles M. and Vera Maxine (Watson) Utterback.
Beverly graduated from Waynetown High School in 1952. She married James Hancock in 1955 and they later divorced. Beverly then married Jerry Bruton. He preceded her in death. She retired from RR Donnelley after 40 years of service in the art department. Beverly enjoyed bowling and euchre. She was a member of the Red Hats and Donnelly Club.
Beverly is survived by son Roger (Kim) Hancock; two grandchildren, Derek (Amy) Hancock and Rachel (Scott) Wiedenhoeff; and great-granddaughter Kira Hancock.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Jerry Bruton; brothers, Ramon Leon Utterback and Mike Utterback; and son Rodney Hancock.
There will be a private family service. Burial will take place at Indian Creek Hill Cemetery. Sanders Priebe Funeral Care is entrusted with Care.
