The Crawfordsville Board of Public Works and Safety approved several items Wednesday, including an amendment to an agreement with Etica Group, requests for upcoming events and several mowing work orders.
The board approved Amendment No. 1 to the agreement with Etica Group for design services related to Fusion 54. This agreement is related to plans for moving the city offices from East Pike Street to the downtown building.
The board also approved a noise abatement request from Jack Gause of Wabash College for an event at Sigma Chi, 701 W. Wabash Ave., on Saturday.
Alan Slight received approval to block the street from 1100 Ridgway Drive to 1106 Ridgway Drive for a neighborhood party from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sept. 13.
The board approved a request from Lauren Ritter to place a dumpster at 915 W. Pike St. from Thursday, through Sept. 15.
Crawfordsville Main Street also received approval for multiple requests related to an upcoming 5K scheduled from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Sept. 19.
Several mowing work orders from Code Enforcement Officer Barry Lewis also received approval. The orders include 1606 Edgewood Drive, owned by Joshua Osterhoudt, 708 Winthrop Drive, owned by Kenneth Jeffers; and an empty lot at the corner of Corey Boulevard and Smith Avenue, owned by William Corey Revocable Living Trust.
