Heating and air conditioning will be installed in a remaining classroom at the Montgomery County Emergency Management Agency.
The Crawfordsville Board of Public Works and Safety on Wednesday approved a $9,895 quote from Hay-Bush Mechanical for the project at the building on East Elmore Street, which is owned by the city.
The board will consider an agreement with Hay-Bush at the next meeting Feb. 5.
In other business, the board acknowledged the wastewater department’s purchase of a John Deere skid-steer loader. The $30,500 equipment was purchased through the state revolving fund.
The board also acknowledged more than $1 million in 2019 encumbrances that carried over into this year. Most of the funds were for street paving that was not completed last year.
