STATEHOUSE — State Sen. Phil Boots (R-Crawfordsville) has been reappointed by Senate President Pro Tem Rodric Bray (R-Martinsville) to chair the Senate Committee on Pensions and Labor for the 122nd Indiana General Assembly.

“As our state and nation continue to face financial difficulties brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s important we maintain a safe and thriving work environment for Hoosiers,” Boots said. “The Senate Committee on Pensions and Labor impacts thousands by addressing issues like worker’s compensation, disability benefits, and retirement plans for law enforcement, teachers and others.”

Boots will also serve as a member of the Senate Committees on Appropriations; Homeland Security and Transportation; Public Policy; and Veterans Affairs and the Military.

Committee hearings can be viewed online by visiting iga.in.gov. Legislative calendars, agendas, vote tallies and proposed legislation can also be found on this site.
