BPW plans spring fever fair

Posted

Crawfordsville’s local chapter of the Indiana Federation of Business and Professional Women will have its 25th anniversary fundraiser event from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 2 at the Crawfordsville Armory.

Forty-five vendors will be available with a mix of hand-crafted items, direct sales, door prizes, silent auction items as well as a few local non-profit organizations.

BPW will offer breakfast and lunch throughout the day as supplies last, as well as a bake sale booth.

This year is the 105th anniversary of Indiana Business and Professional Women’s groups and the Crawfordsville chapter has been there from the beginning leading the way to provide networking opportunities for women, career positions, advance education and to create new interests for women.

Proceeds from this event help with the annual Reality Store, which includes all of Montgomery County’s eighth graders, the club’s continuing education award that helps a local Montgomery County woman attend an accredited post-secondary school after sitting out of work or to raise her family, and our newest award, INFBPW-Crawfordsville Education Award, which will be available to all female high school seniors of the 2024 graduating class.
