Bradley Nelson Waldon of Crawfordsville passed away unexpectedly Friday, Nov. 24, 2023, at the age of 65.
Born on Oct. 26, 1958, at Cawfordsville, Brad was the son of Ronald N. Waldon and Norma O’Dell Waldon. He graduated from Crawfordsville High School in 1976 and continued his studies at Purdue University.
Brad quickly found his calling to the computing/IT world where he worked at RR Donnelley for several years before starting his own business, Waldon Computer Services, providing IT support for the local community. His interests included debating, gaming and philosophy; but those who knew him best knew his real passion was playing guitar and looking for any excuse to jam to Van Halen.
Surviving family includes: two sons, Jason (Heather) Waldon of Lafayette and Josh Waldon of Crawfordsville; three grandchildren, Skye (Blaine) Vancleave, Gavyn Waldon and Logan Waldon; two brothers, Tony Waldon (Karen) and Ryan Waldon; along with his dearly loved canine companion, Max.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial gathering will be held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1 at Burkhart Funeral Home. Visitors are encouraged to wear their best band/musical attire in honor of Brad and his love for music.
