Brenda Elaine Randolph, 66, of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, died at the Brooks Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas, on Oct. 23, 2023. Daughter of Kenneth and Marjorie Randolph, Brenda was born Dec. 17, 1956, at Crawfordsville. Her parents and brother, John Randolph, preceeded her in death.

Brenda graduated from North Montgomery High School in 1975. She worked for Randolph Builders prior to joining the US Navy in 1982. She was active in the Navy for eight years as a jet mechanic, followed by five years in the Navy Reserves. While stationed in Hawaii, Brenda married Ronald Rose. In 1988, her daughter, Amanda, was born in Honolulu. In 1990, she moved to Sanford, Florida, where her daughter, Monica, was born.

She was a devoted and loving mother and wife. Her very being was that of caring and nurturing. She had a highly creative side that she tapped into while raising her daughters. As a Christian, Brenda had an unwavering faith in God, which she instilled in her daughters.

In 2010, Brenda integrated her life skills to maintain a homestead in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. On June 12, 2020, Brenda was blessed with a grandson, Vincent Rose.

Survivors include: daughters, Amanda Rose, San Antonio, Texas, and Monica Rose, East Hampton, New York; grandson Vincent Rose, San Antonio Texas; siblings, Mark Randolph (Dennis Hill), Bloomington, Kendra Martyn (Ken Martyn), Waialua, Hawaii, and Kristy Perry, Crawfordsville; nephews, Joe Perry, Crawfordsville, and Brandon and Geremy Martyn, Waialua, Hawaii; and great niece and nephew, Mazi and Cash Perry, Crawfordsville.

A memorial service and reception in her honor will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 2 at Church Alive, 1203 E. Main St., Crawfordsville, officiated by Pastors Dan Mathews and Mike Parks.
