Brenda Mosier of Lafayette passed away Friday evening, Oct. 6, 2023, at Glasswater Creek. She was 80 years old.
Brenda attended the Pentecostal Church of God. She worked at Sam’s Club as a demonstrator. She wrote poetry and enjoyed puzzle books. She was a graduate of cosmetology college.
Born July 6, 1943, at Oaktown, Indiana, she was the daughter of Russell Leak and Julia Leak.
Surviving family includes: daughter Cheryl Demoret of Crawfordsville; son Ronald Mosier of Illinois; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and son Michael Mosier.
Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 13, 2023, at Burkhart Funeral Home, 201 W. Wabash Ave., with Pastor Curtis Brouwer officiating. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. She will be laid to rest at Valhalla Memory Gardens in Bloomington, Indiana at a later date.
