Lana Buck, human resource coordinator at Hoosier Heartland State Bank, is celebrating 10 years at the bank.
Buck began her career with HHSB in 2010 as executive assistant/financial services assistant after graduating from Indiana State University with a bachelor’s degree. In 2017, she was promoted to her current role as human resource coordinator, where she is responsible for new employee onboarding and the development of internal human resource systems and processes and manages employee benefits and payroll.
“I am very thankful for my time here at HHSB and how much I’ve learned so far,” Buck said. “I am excited to continue to grow and learn more ways that I can assist the bank to continue to be the asset it is to community.”
“Lana is key to our teams’ success as our HR coordinator and has been an extremely valuable team member,” said HHSB president Brad Monts. “She is dedicated to not only the success of our team but also our customers and the bank. It’s amazing what she’s accomplished over the last 10 years.”
She and her husband Clay reside in the Linnsburg area with their two sons, Owen and Jenson.
In her spare time, Buck enjoys spending time with her immediate and extended family and watching her kids learn and experience new things. She attends Woodland Heights Christian Church, where she volunteers in the 2’s and 3’s Sunday school.
