INDIANAPOLIS — Finn Carteaux tied for 19th place to lead Wabash College through the first two rounds of the 2026 Wabash College Invitational played Monday at Broadmoor Country Club.
Carteaux posted rounds of 73 and 74 on the par-72, 6,904-yard course to finish the opening day with a 3-over-par total of 147. Leo Dellinger joined Carteaux among the top 35, tying for 33rd at 5-over 149 after rounds of 73 and 76.
Wabash’s A team stood ninth in the 16-team field with a 36-hole score of 603 after rounds of 303 and 300. Emory led the tournament at 11-under 563, five strokes ahead of Illinois Wesleyan’s A team. Carnegie Mellon was third at 569, followed by Kenyon at 571 and Illinois Wesleyan’s B team at 576.
Tyler Morton tied for 50th for Wabash at 8-over 152. Morton improved by six strokes in the second round, following an opening-round 79 with a 1-over 73. Mason Pierle tied for 67th at 155 after rounds of 78 and 77, while Charlie Seaburg was tied for 73rd at 157 after rounds of 80 and 77.
The Wabash B team stood 14th with a two-round total of 628, shooting 310 in the opening round and 318 in round two. Louis Leon Gryglewski led the B team with a 10-over 154 to tie for 62nd. Gryglewski opened with an even-par 72 before shooting 82 in the second round.
Alex Schenkel tied for 69th at 156 after rounds of 76 and 80. Jackson Mahan tied for 75th at 158 with rounds of 82 and 76, while Antonio Grandinetti tied for 81st at 161 after shooting 81 and 80. Coen Bauschek was 83rd at 164 with rounds of 81 and 83.
Hudson Messer and Quinn Hundt competed as individuals for Wabash. Messer was 78th at 15-over 159 after rounds of 79 and 80. Hundt tied for 84th at 21-over 165 after rounds of 78 and 87.
Emory’s Kevin Mu held the individual lead at 14-under 130 after tying the Broadmoor Country Club course record with a 10-under-par 62 in the opening round. Mu followed with a 4-under 68 in round two and held a six-stroke lead over Carnegie Mellon’s Joshua Wang entering Tuesday’s final round.
The third and final round of the Wabash College Invitational was played Tuesday at Broadmoor Country Club in Indianapolis.
