The Youth Services Department at the Crawfordsville Public Library would like to thank all those who had a part in making our summer reading program “Reading Round-Up” a success. We had a great time this summer.
First of all, we want to thank the Friends of the Library for funding the program. Without them we could not have had all the “cool” prizes and crafts we had. We want to thank all the children, teens, parents and grandparents for coming in this summer and for reading.
We want to thank those in the community that helped by donating coupons: Brother’s Pizza, Dairy Queen, McDonald’s and Pizza Hut. We thank International Paper for donating large pieces of cardboard to us.
We thank Valero for the money for the Batmobile (even though he was ill and couldn’t come). We thank Joni Wiles for bringing in her saddle and lasso for the kids to get on. They absolutely loved it.
We appreciate everyone’s support and look forward to working with all of you next year.
