Crawfordsville Electric Light & Power employees are hosting our second “Fill the Bucket” community supply drive. This year’s drive will benefit the Animal Welfare League of Montgomery County. As your Public Power provider, CEL&P takes pride in providing our customers with reliable, low-cost electricity while giving back to the community we serve.
Customers are invited to join CEL&P employees from today through Oct. 5 as they “Fill the Bucket” by bringing donations to CEL&P’s lobby, drive-thru or given directly to CEL&P employees that you see working in the community.
On Oct. 6, CEL&P employees will deliver the collected items to the AWL. That same day, the employees will volunteer their time to assist the AWL with any tasks needed.
CEL&P has been part of the Crawfordsville community since 1890. The company and employees are always looking for ways to give back to those we serve. Ending the supply drive during Public Power Week allows our employees and customers to come together and support our local animal shelter while celebrating the benefits of public power.
