The Crawfordsville/Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce is inviting local businesses and community members to learn about health coverage options available to small employers, individuals and families during Health Coverage Options for You & Your Business on at 9:30 a.m. Oct. 7 on the third floor of Fusion 54.
The event will introduce ChamberCare, a healthcare resource now available through the local Chamber in partnership with the Indiana Chamber of Commerce.
Designed for eligible small employers with 2-50 employees, ChamberCare provides access to a broad network of healthcare providers throughout Indiana, competitive plan options, pharmacy savings programs, Indiana-based member support and additional resources designed to help small businesses provide quality health benefits to their employees. Businesses must be Chamber members to access ChamberCare through the local Chamber.
“Providing resources that help our businesses succeed is an important part of the value of Chamber membership,” said Stacy Sommer, Chamber executive director. “Healthcare can be a significant challenge for small businesses, so we are excited to add ChamberCare as another resource our members can explore for their employees.”
The program will also feature Indiana Farm Bureau Health Plans, which offers options designed for individuals and families, including self-employed Hoosiers and others who may not have access to traditional employer-sponsored health coverage. Options include individual and family health plans as well as dental, vision and Medicare Supplement choices for eligible participants.
Representatives will be available to explain both options and answer questions to help attendees determine which resources may be appropriate to explore for themselves, their families, employees or businesses.
The Health Coverage Options for You & Your Business event is free and open to the public. Community members and businesses that are not currently Chamber members are encouraged to attend and learn more about the programs and the benefits of Chamber membership.
The program will begin at 9:30 a.m. following the Chamber’s monthly Connections & Conversations event, which begins at 8 a.m. and is open to Chamber members only.
