LINDEN — The North Montgomery wrestling team dropped five matches at their annual Holiday Duals on Friday — facing some of the state’s toughest competition.
North Montgomery fell in pool play to Heritage Hills 44-27, Leo 46-22, and New Haven 45-18, before falling to Huntington North 57-18 and Rochester 44-30 in the placement rounds.
Dawson McCloud (182) and Drew Webster (220) both went 5-0 on the day.
The Chargers are back in action today at their holiday tournament for the individual portion of the tournament.
Athenians in action at Jeff
The Crawfordsville wrestling team was in action at the Lafayette Jeff Holiday Duals on Friday.
The Athenians went 1-4 on the day, earning a 42-19 win over Delphi. Crawfordsville fell to Rensselaer 55-18, Cascade 43-26, West Lafayette 45-27, and New Castle 54-15.
Crawfordsville is back in action today at Lafayette Jeff.
