Posted

Kevin Farley will headline a stand-up comedy event at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 13 at the Crawfordsville Country Club, 3272, Country Club Road. The event includes openers DJ Dangler (The Bob and Tom Show) and Christopher Hightower (The Steve Harvey Show). It is produced by Crawfordsville native Neil Snyder.

Movie star, comedian, documentary producer, dancer, teacher, director, music video actor, voiceover actor — there are many occupations attributed to Farley. He studied at the famous Second City in Chicago. It wasn’t long after that he appeared in films such as Black Sheep (with his brother Chris Farley) and The Waterboy with Adam Sandler. Most recently people can hear his voice on “F” is for Family, a Netflix’s animated sitcom from Bill Burr.

Farley was part of MTV’s mockumentary series 2gether as part of a boy band in 2000. Farley also directed and starred in the horror spoof Paranormal Movie in 2003, at the height of the supernatural film boom. He also served as executive producer on the documentary film I Am Chris Farley. He’s been in music videos for Nickelback, Lifehouse and Rascal Flatts.

The country club will have its kitchen open as well as full bar. The event is expected to last until 9 p.m. All ages are admitted, but due to adult language and content, the recommended age is 17 and older. Tickets are $15 and $30 and can be purchased online at www.MadHatterShows.com.
