Street Department crew members Ed McGaughey, from left, stormwater foreman Chris Moore and Mick Selleck work to fix a drainage issue at West Market and Circle Drive Monday morning. Using a small backhoe loader, the workers installed large drainage pipes some four feet into historic layers of Crawfordsville's past. The project, set to wrap up by 2021, is the final effort of its kind for 2020 before crews head to the Northridge addition on the city's north side for further drainage imrpovements in January. Moore also took the time to make a public service announcement: If you have a driveway, park in it this winter to free up space for road work and snow plows, the latter of which Moore and his crew will be operating in the coming months.
