Diane J. Budd of Crawfordsville went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 6, 2024, surrounded by her family, at Franciscan of Lafayette. She was 77.
She was born Jan. 24, 1947, at Terre Haute, to Floyd and Creola Russell Morris. Diane graduated from Danville Community High School in 1965. She was a member of the Eastern Star and Daughters of the American Revolution in Danville, Indiana and a Blue Star Mother.
She was the owner of Honey Creek Flower and Gifts in Darlington and worked for the Indiana Bar Association for many years. Her proudest role was being a wonderful mother and grandmother. She loved to dance and was always in her garden tending to her flowers.
Surviving family includes: the love of her life, Bob Sears; sons, Tracy (Cindy) Budd and Todd (Tonya) Budd; grandchildren, Jordan (Tyler) Adams, Seth (Jayme) Budd, Tristan Budd, Tyler (Ashley)William; eight great-grandchildren; sister Dixie Page of Danville, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews.
Diane was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Larry Morris and Charles Morris; and grandson Trevor Budd.
Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Sunday June 9 at Burkhart Funeral Home, Crawfordsville. Service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday June 10 at Burkhart Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery North.
