Kate Doty, a four-year employee at the Montgomery County Youth Service Bureau, spoke to Crawfordsville Rotary members. Doty spoke about the many programs offered by the Bureau. There are 40 CASA volunteers who work as advocates for children and work with the families. Some of the other available programs include: the Nourish Program, which provides backpacks of food for children for the weekends; JUMP, a mentoring program; and the REINdear program, which helps Santa at Christmas. Several other youth programs are available, such as Teen Court, Inspire and Youth as Resources. For more information or to volunteer for a program, contact her by email at kate@mcysb.org.
