Richard and Janice Stout of Crawfordsville will celebrate their 50th anniversary on Friday, Aug. 4.
Richard Stout and Janice Brown were married Aug. 4, 1973, in the First United Methodist Church, in Bedford, Indiana. The Rev. Ronald Mercer and Father Conan Taylor officiated.
Dr. Stout retired after 37 years of practicing optometry in Crawfordsville. Janice is retired after teaching in the Crawfordsville School System and tutoring at Ivy Tech Community College.
They are parents of Adam (Savannah) Stout of Madison, Indiana.
Rick and Jan celebrated with a trip to Iceland earlier this summer.
