Hoosier Heartland State Bank is proud to recognize Tammy Elless, a deposit operations specialist, for 20 years of service at the bank.

“Tammy is one of the most positive people in the office and adds so much value to our team,” said Jamie McCumber, vice president of operations. “She goes above and beyond her daily tasks and brings a can-do attitude with her every day. She is a great teacher and loves to share her vast banking knowledge with others. She is a great asset to HHSB.”

Elless started her career as a teller at the Crawfordsville South branch in 2002. She worked at the Roachdale branch before transferring to the operations department in 2016.

As a deposit operations specialist, Elless is responsible for the daily balancing of general ledger accounts, teller cash drawers and ATMs. She also processes incoming electronic files for cash management users, manages submitted fraud dispute forms, and provides support to CSRs at all HHSB branches.

Elless is a 1982 graduate of North Montgomery High School and resides in Ladoga with her husband Jack. They have two children, Travis and Matt (Bree) Elless, and two grandchildren, Anelia and Adelyn. When she’s not working, Elless is an avid reader, and enjoys spending time with family and spoiling her granddaughters.
