Evelyn J. Reynolds, 81, of Marshall passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at home, surrounded by her family.
Evelyn was born Nov. 9, 1942, at Pontiac, Illinois, to the late Alfred and Fannie Ingalsbe (Deck). Evelyn was a 1960 graduate of Hillsboro High School.
On Feb. 18, 1961, Evelyn married John A. Reynolds. They had shared 61 years of marriage before his passing in Jan. 27, 2023.
Evelyn worked as a bookkeeper for many years for Leon Weber Farm Management. She was a member of W.C.I.A. Church. But most importantly family was everything. She treasured the time spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be missed by many.
Evelyn is survived by her children, Cindy Froedge (John), Jack Reynolds (Mary Lu), Joy Morgan (Craig) and Jennifer Roberts (Randall); 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and one brother.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband John A. Reynolds; and one brother.
Evelyn will be laid to rest privately by her family. Machledt & Servies Funeral Home has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
