Melinda Faber will celebrate her 25th anniversary with Lakeside Book Company on Aug. 30. Faber began her career Aug. 30, 1997. She started her career on Line 600 and has held many other roles throughout the plant. She has worked in Deluxe, the pressroom delivering plates, receiving delivering mail, Samples, Sewers, Shrink-Wrap Operator, Case Making and Customer Service Assistant. She even goes to the North Plant to help with repairs as needed and to check on Line 550. She calls herself “A Jack of all trades and a master of none.”
Faber and her husband Ray, hoist operator, have three children, Richard (deceased), Ronald (Erin) and Michael and five grandchildren.
Faber enjoys spending time with her family and close friends. She also enjoys crocheting, motorcycle and horseback riding, attending the American Legion Auxiliary, participating in Goldwing Road Riders, 8+40 and the Special Olympics.
