The Indiana High School Athletic Association announced the state tournament pairings on Sunday.
In Class 3A Sectional No. 28 North Montgomery (4-4) will travel to Crawfordsville (0-8). The Chargers defeated the Athenians 42-6 in the regular season.
The winner will play the winner of No. 2 Indianapolis Chatard (7-1) and No. 6 Indianapolis Brebeuf (6-2). The other side of the bracket features defending Class 3A state champion and No. 1 West Lafayette (7-1), Hamilton Heights (2-6), No. 7 Guerin Catholic (5-3), and No. 14 Yorktown (6-2).
In Class 2A Sectional No. 37 Southmont (3-5) will take on the defending Class 2A and No. 1 Western Boone Stars (7-1) in Dover. The Stars beat the Mounties 56-13 in the regular season. The winner will play the winner of No. 14 North Putnam (7-1) and Speedway (3-5). The other side of the brcket includes South Vermillion (4-4), Seeger (6-2), Monrovia (0-8), and Cascade (4-4).
In Class A Sectional No. 45 Fountain Central (0-8) will open with No. 12 Attica (5-3). The Red Ramblers defeated the Mustangs 50-0 in the regular season.
The winner will play the winner of No. 7 Parke Heritage (7-1) and Cloverdale (1-7). The other side of the bracket includes No. 5 North Vermillion (7-1), Covington (4-4), South Putnam (4-4), and Riverton Parke (3-5).
