The Crawfordsville/Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce will welcome Gary Brackett, retired Indianapolis Colts player, as the spotlight speaker for its 2026 Awards Banquet on Sept. 10 at Stone Creek Lodge.
Brackett’s appearance will highlight an already special evening dedicated to celebrating excellence throughout Montgomery County. The annual banquet brings Chamber members together to recognize outstanding businesses, organizations, first responders, and individuals whose leadership, service, innovation, and community involvement make a lasting impact.
The 2026 Chamber Awards will recognize honorees in the following categories:
• Nonprofit Excellence – Honoring a nonprofit that makes a significant difference in the community through service, innovation, and community engagement.
• Agricultural Excellence – Honoring outstanding service, innovation, and community engagement in agriculture.
• Five Star – Celebrating a business that goes above and beyond to deliver exceptional customer service while building lasting relationships within the community.
• Trailblazer – Recognizing bold vision, innovation, creativity, and forward-thinking leadership that inspires others to think bigger and reach further.
• You Rock! – Recognizing an individual who makes waves in the workplace and embodies the spirit of growth, leadership, and enthusiasm.
• First Responder – Honoring bravery, dedication, and service above and beyond the call of duty in Montgomery County.
• Chamber Award of Distinction – The highest honor presented by the Chamber to an individual or organization that truly embodies the heart and mission of the Chamber.
“This is one of the most exciting evenings of the year for our Chamber,” said Stacy Sommer, Chamber executive director. “We have the opportunity to celebrate the people and organizations doing incredible things in our community, enjoy a wonderful evening together, and this year, hear from Gary Brackett. It is an event our members will not want to miss.”
Guests will enjoy appetizers, a plated meal, and dessert prepared by The Juniper Spoon, along with networking, the awards presentation, and Brackett’s spotlight presentation.
The event is open exclusively to Chamber members for reserving a table.
Because final attendance numbers must be provided to the caterer by Aug. 27, 2026, Chamber members who have not yet reserved their seats or tables are encouraged to register as soon as possible.
