Hoosier Heartland State Bank is pleased to announce its recent hire of Josh Foxworthy.

Foxworthy joins the team as an agriculture loan officer, where he will be responsible for making and servicing a wide variety of agricultural and commercial loans best suited to the bank’s customers.

Foxworthy has been in agriculture lending for 20 years. He attended Purdue University where he received his bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics. He is experienced in financing row crop farmers, agribusinesses, grain elevators and livestock producers specializing in beef, swine and dairy production.

Foxworthy resides on his family farm near Hillsboro with his wife Rachel and their four children, Gracie, Luke, Eli and Drew. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing and being outdoors. He is involved in coaching youth sports, helping his children show 4-H livestock and serves on various school and community boards and committees. Foxworthy is also an auctioneer and enjoys conducting auctions and participating in charity events.

“We are excited to welcome Josh to the HHSB family,” said Trent Smaltz, vice president/chief lending officer. “He knows first-hand how important family farms are to our communities.
