Franciscan ExpressCare & WorkingWell move to new location

Franciscan HEALTHeACCESS service added to offerings

Franciscan ExpressCare and WorkingWell are in the process of moving to a new location in Crawfordsville.

The office at 1640 Crawfordsville Square Drive closed at 10 a.m. Wednesday for services to move to the new location at 308 W. Market St. in Crawfordsville. Franciscan ExpressCare and WorkingWell will be open to see patients at the new location at 8 a.m. Monday.

“This new standalone location will afford us a larger space and make it more accessible to the patients we serve,” said Britney Zimmer, administrative director, Occupational Health, Franciscan Health Western Indiana. “It was previously Franciscan Physician Network Primary Care offices that we have now converted to meet the expansion of our services.”

During their move, patients can still be seen virtually by going to to launch a virtual visit. Visits are available weekdays from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The new location allows both ExpressCare and WorkingWell to see more patients and to bring a new service to the area — Franciscan HEALTHeACCESS. HEALTHeACCESS partners with employers of all sizes to provide employer health clinic programs for company’s employees and family members.

“One of our vital ExpressCare functions is to fill in the gap between primary care offices and the emergency department when they cannot see same day patients or when patients do not have a primary care provider,” Zimmer said. “Patients can come in for a same day appointment. Another of our service lines that is important to the community is our WorkingWell. Employers can get their employees the appropriate care without delay.”

HEALTHeACCESS is a network of conveniently located clinic locations that offer expanded primary/urgent care access for a company’s employees, as well as enhanced wellness and disease management programs and affordable, customizable program options for employers and their employees.

“Our latest addition to our service lines is HEALTHeACCESS,” Zimmer said. “This program helps with the challenges employers face trying to provide affordable health care for their employees. It will provide much of the essential health care of workers of the Crawfordsville area.”
