Registration deadline to vote in Nov. 3 General Election is end of the work day Oct. 4 (prior to Oct. 5). This is true whether registering either online, by mail, or in person. It takes less on average than two minutes to register to vote. If mailing forms to the County Clerk’s Office you are encouraged to put it in the mailbox at least a minimum of one week before it’s due.
Are you eligible to vote:
1. You must be a US citizen and a resident of Indiana and
2. You will be at least 18 years of age on or before Nov. 3, and
3. You are not currently in prison after being convicted a crime and
4. You have lived in the precinct where you vote for at least 30 days prior to the election, and
5. You are registered to vote.
What do you need to register to vote:
1. A valid Indiana driver’s license or Indiana state issued ID.
