Steve Gressmire is seeking the Republican nomination for Montgomery County Coroner.
This is the first time the 43-year-old Crawfordsville resident has sought political office. He works full-time as a flight paramedic with Ascension St. Vincent StatFlight and part-time as a deputy coroner in Montgomery County.
His memberships include the National Association of EMT’s and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1431 in Crawfordsville.
“My mission and position is to provide competent, efficient and quality services in determining the cause and manner of deaths within Montgomery County while remaining fiscally responsible and transparent,” Gressmire said. “This will be done by continuing to cultivate relationships with all public safety partners within the county.”
He and his wife, Sara Gressmire, have a blended family with seven children, Haley, Linny, Claire, Logan, Luke, Josie and Cooper.
