Hoosier Heartland State Bank is proud to recognize Tammy Harshbarger, vice president of ag and commercial lending, for 30 years with the bank.
Harshbarger has been in banking for approximately 40 years. She began her career with HHSB in 1993 as a loan officer at the New Ross branch before being promoted to her current position.
“Tammy is a wonderful underwriter, amazing mentor, great friend, and huge asset to HHSB,” said April Smekens, AVP of Underwriting. “She always has time for others, takes whatever time is needed to talk you through questions, pitches in wherever she is needed, and keeps us on track. I appreciate Tammy in so many ways. She has really set the bar for the rest of the department and positioned us well as we look to the future.”
Harshbarger is a former resident of Putnam County and now resides in Crawfordsville with her husband Randy. She has three grown children Shane, Tyler and Chelsea Greene. In her spare time she enjoys reading, golfing and vacationing near the ocean.
