Hoosier Heartland State Bank is pleased to announce that Brieana Pickett has been promoted to underwriting assistant. She is responsible for reviewing and processing documents for underwriting and verifying files for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
“Brie is enthusiastic and dedicated to her work,” said April Smekens, underwriting department manager. “She helps to strengthen our residential underwriting area, and her skills and knowledge help us to better serve the needs of our customers. We are delighted to have her with us.”
Pickett has been an HHSB employee-owner since January 2019. She began her career as an account specialist at the Crawfordsville East location before being promoted to her previous position as mortgage portfolio manager. She has an associate degree in business management and accounting and brings four years of prior banking experience to the team. She and her husband Brody have two daughters, Piper and Nora.
