Hoosier Heartland State Bank is pleased to welcome Paul Jaeger to the team as an ag/commercial credit underwriter.
“I am thrilled that Paul has decided to join the HHSB Underwriting Team,” said April Smekens, underwriting department manager. “He has been involved in commercial banking for over 30 years and brings a wealth of knowledge with him. Paul has worked with both Ag and Commercial credits. His background in loan review, understanding of economics, and experience with diverse credits will help our customers manage cash flow, identify potential risks, and successfully navigate our current economic environment, which continues to change at a rapid pace.”
Jaeger is a graduate of Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois, where he received a bachelor’s degree in finance/economics. As an ag/commercial credit underwriter for HHSB, he will be responsible for the administration and underwriting of credit to facilitate the extension, monitoring and servicing of the bank’s agricultural and commercial relationships.
He currently resides in Brownsburg. In his spare time, he enjoys volunteering and spending time with his 4-year-old cockapoo, Klause.
