James “Matt” Matthew Jackson, 40, of Crawfordsville passed away Sunday, Jan. 21, 2024, at Franciscan Health Crawfordsville.
He was born Sept. 8, 1983, at Terre Haute, to Paul Jackson and Margie Cox. Matt graduated from South Vermillion High School in 2002. He met the love of his life Elyse Eggleston in 2012. Together they have two children, Madelyn and Alexander.
Matt loved spending time outdoors fishing and hiking. He enjoyed drawing and music. Matt loved his family fiercely and loved being a stay home dad.
He is survived by his significant other, Elyse; two children, Alexander Jackson and Madelyn Jackson; his siblings, Paul, Frank, Floyd and Peggy; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by father Paul and siblings, Phil and Paula.
Cremation was chosen with no services. Sanders Priebe Funeral Care is entrusted with care.
