Judith “Judy” K. (Priebe) Jordan, 80, of Crawfordsville passed away Monday, May 20, 2024, at home, while surrounded by her loving family.
She was born June 23, 1943, at Crawfordsville, to the late William E. Priebe and Elsie May (Wilbur) Busenbark.
Judy graduated from Southmont High School and on Aug. 7, 1960, she married the love of her life, James “Jim” E. Jordan in Jim’s home in Russellville.
She was a bus driver for the Southmont School Corporation for 43 years and owned and operated her beauty shop, Judy’s Country Salon, out of her house for many years. She enjoyed farming, raising cattle, and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Jim Jordan; her three children, Lisa K. Jordan-Guckes, Jeffrey Scott (Connie) Jordan and Joni Brooke (Victor) Wiles; six grandchildren, Jimmy, Kyler, Kayleigh, Tanner, McKenzi and Shae; six great-grandchildren, Della, Roman, Selah, Emersyon Hope, Gracelynn Mae and Indi Joleen; two sisters, Nancy Stephens and Jerry (Warner) Davidson; brother-in-law Harold Jordan; two sisters-in-law, Mary Ellen (Ronnie) Coffman and Carol Southern; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Ernest, Larry and Billie Joe Priebe; step-brother Garrett Busenbark; step-sister Teresa Cotton; and father and mother-in-law, John and Mary Jordan.
Visitation will be at Sanders Priebe Funeral Care, 315 S. Washington St., Crawfordsville, on Saturday, May 25 from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. The Rev. Mike Whitacre will officiate. Burial will follow at Freedom Cemetery in Waveland.
