Katherine “Kay” Joan (Smith) Eubanks, 75, of Crawfordsville went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2024, at her home in Crawfordsville.
She was born Nov. 12, 1948, at Crawfordsville, to the late Richard H. and Elsie (Schuff) Smith.
Kay graduated from Crawfordsville High School in 1966. She married the love of her life, Charles Thomas Eubanks. He preceded her in death in 2010.
Kay worked for various credit card companies in the credit fraud department. She loved to travel, she even lived in various states throughout her life. Kay enjoyed reading especially her Bible. She was a good Christan lady and independent. Kay loved her dog, Riley.
Katherine will be deeply missed by her granddaughters, Kesha (Chris) Wharff and Alesa Gray; brother Ray (Shelli) Smith; great-granddaughters, Khloyee and Joscelyn; niece Callie Phelps; and several friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Tom; and three siblings, Marilyn Barnett, Dorita Phelps and Richard Smith.
Cremation was chosen with no services. Burial will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery North Cremation Gardens. Sanders Priebe Funeral Care is entrusted with care.
