Learn to make paper beads

Posted

Express your style and personality by making paper beads. Paper beads are light weight, colorful and unique. Learn how to use everyday supplies to make beads for you own earrings or necklaces.

Paper beads were first made in England around the Victorian Age. Ladies took scrapes of wallpaper, rolled on knitting needles and polished with beeswax. They made beaded curtains and room dividers. Next, paper bead making traveled to Africa where today, making paper bead is a long traditional art.

The teacher, Ellie Dieckmeyer, will furnish all the supplies you need to make your own conversational paper beads.
