Congratulations to the Purdue University Men’s Basketball team and Coach Matt Painter on their fabulous season culminating in their run to second place nationally in the 2024 NCAA Tournament. Additionally, congratulations to Purdue’s Zach Edey who was named not only the recipient of the John Wooden Award, but is the recipient of all six National Player of the Year Awards. Edey is the first player in 50 years to win unanimous Player of the Year accolades in consecutive seasons.
This was not reported in the Journal Review’s sports section. I wonder how they missed it?
