Letter: Security high for inauguration

Posted

Joe Biden will be inaugurated behind fortified non-scalable fencing, streets blocked by military vehicles, and guarded by 20,000 soldiers. Who makes politicians this afraid? Maybe Americans were paying attention and are doing exactly what politicians have expected them to do.

Americans listened to Maxine Waters instructing people to “Get out and you create a crowd. And you push back on them. And you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere.”

Senator Booker said, “Get up in the faces of some Congress people.”

People heard Rep. Castro say, “Fight in the streets and protest.”

Eric Holder said, “When they go low, we kick them. That’s what this new Democratic Party is about.”

Loretta Lynch called for supporters to “march, bleed, and die in the streets.”

Kamala Harris lectured us on the ANTIFA and BLM riots and violence, “Everyone beware, because they’re not gonna stop — and they should not. And we should not.”

Ayanna Pressley declared, “There needs to be unrest in the streets for as long as there’s unrest in our lives.”

Hillary Clinton said, “You cannot be civil with a political party that wants to destroy what you stand for.”

Nancy Pelosi clearly stated, “When somebody throws a punch, you’ve got to be ready take a punch and throw a punch.” She called Americans “domestic enemies” and “enemies of the state” and encouraged “uprisings all over the country.”

Jon Tester encouraged people to “punch them in the face.”

Biden mumbled he would, “Beat the hell out of Trump.” He encouraged people to “fight like hell.”

Rioting, looting and violence was approved of and supported by politicians as an acceptable form of expression. The politicians who created this mess are hiding after encouraging civil unrest. I hope they are happy.
