Mountie golfers win again
The Southmont girls’ golf team defeated McCutcheon 172-192 on Thursday night.
Senior Macie Shirk was the medalist with a 38, while Addison Meadows shot a 42.
Taylor Grino fired a 44, Bailey Barker a 48, and Kelsey Thompson a 53. Stella Snook shot a 61 as did Yasa Deverall.
Athenians compete on course
The Crawfordsville girls’ golf team was shor-handed on Thursday night in a match against Hamilton Heights and Frankfort.
Carli Payne fired a 54, while McKenzie Wilson shot a personal best 53 and Nancy Blanchard carded a 68.
Mustangs 3rd in 3-way
The Fountain Central shot a 243 against Seeger (233) and Covington (238) on Thursday night.
Cassadi Parks led the Mustangs with a 53 and Nola Walls a 54. Hannah Parks fired a 66 and Aubrey Hicks a 70.
