Mustangs 2nd in Bi-County tennis
The Fountain Central girls' tennis team placed second at the Bi-County tournament on Saturday.
At No. 1 singles, Lillie Fishero beat Seeger's Shrader 6-3, 6-3 and fell in the finals to Covington's Wright 6-4, 6-2.
At No. 2 singles, Haley Webb defeated Attica's Garriott 6-0, 6-0 and Covington's Pettit 6-2, 6-1.
At No. 3 singles, Angela Gonzalez defeated Covington's Grady 6-0, 6-0 and Seeger's Brown 6-1, 6-3.
At No. 1 doubles, Paige Scheurich and Emily Jimenez defeated Attica's Peterson and Riegle 6-0, 6-0 and fell to Covington's Engle and Taylor 6-1, 6-1.
At No. 2 doubles, Tyler Bowling and Marylee Muniz beat Seeger's Cunningham and Simpson 6-2, 6-3 and fell to Covington's Reynolds and Gnoepper 6-3, 6-1.
Charger softball falls to Tiger Cubs
The North Montgomery softball team lost to Greencastle 12-7 on Saturday.
Makinze Rominger led the Chargers with three hits and two RBI.
