Long to speak as part of breakfast series

Posted

Dr. Al Long is the featured speaker March 12 in the 2022 Men’s Lenten Breakfast Series. He will speak March 12 at Harvest Fellowship. Worship music provided by the Harvest Praise Team.

Breakfast is served at 8 a.m. and the message begins at 8:30 a.m. This year’s theme is “Men of Strength.”

Long is Professor Emeritus at Indiana Wesleyan University as well as an author, motivational speaker, consultant and life-long leader. He has authored three books, “Alone in a Crowd,” “They Called Him Joe” and “Leadership Tripod.”

As a family man Long has made it his charge in life to give every opportunity and all the love possible to his wife, three sons, three daughters-in-laws, 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Taking that very same passion and drive, Long spent 30-plus years in leadership roles making sure that those he serves all have the opportunity to learn and train fellow leaders and followers to be focused in every facet of their career.

It is this passion for positively impacting those he serves that keeps Long involved in leading and coaching leaders on a monthly basis for Greg Hubler Automotive Group as well as serving as a CASA volunteer and working with the local Churches in Mission.

He is a firm believer that all “knowledge gained is only valuable once used.”

The remaining series schedule is as follows:

• March 19 at Grace & Mercy with Monte Thompson as speaker; and worship music provided by Grace & Mercy.

• March 26 at Yountsville with Andy Schindler as speaker; and worship music provided by Dan Hopkins.
