Loretta Anne Marie Willhite, also known as Lorie, passed away Sept. 2, 2023, at the age of 53, in Crawfordsville.
She was born Aug. 18, 1970, in Maryland. Loretta was a sweet, loving, and kind-hearted woman who was deeply devoted to her family.
Loretta is survived by son Adam Fields and daughter Britney (Fields) Weaver. She was also blessed with her only grandson, Kaydenn Weaver. Loretta is also survived by her sister, Linnora Smith, and her brothers, Richard Meekins and Eddie Meekins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Meekins, and her mother, Hilda Meekins.
Loretta’s first husband was Brad Fields, with whom she shared a significant part of her life. Their memories together will forever be cherished.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service to honor Loretta’s life. The service will be held 2-5 p.m. Oct. 7 at 306 Binford St., Crawfordsville, in the atrium.
During this time of grief, let us remember Loretta for her kindness, love and dedication to her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
