Marilyn Yvonne Keene of Crawfordsville passed away Friday morning, Jan. 5, 2024, at Ben-Hur Health. She was 87.
Yvonne worked at RR Donnelley for many years, starting when she was 19, all the way until she retired from there. She was a member of the Crawfordsville Eagles Auxiliary, where she was a Golden Eagle and served as Madam President several times. She was also a member of Eastern Star. She was active in Crawfordsville bowling leagues for many years and also liked to travel.
Born April 22, 1936, she was the daughter of William K. Keene and Irene Potter Keene. She graduated from Veedersburg High School.
She is survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Earlene Barnett and Thelma L. Paul.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 25 Burkhart Funeral Home, 201 W. Wabash Ave., with rites by the Crawfordsville Eagles Auxiliary.
