Mary Luonna (née Berry) Remster Harrison passed away peacefully, Feb. 12, 2024, while surrounded by family, at her daughter’s home.
Born in Indianapolis to Daniel and Dorothy Berry, she was raised on the family farm in Brownsburg, where she developed a love for horses and country life. Always a devout Christian, you could find her singing religious songs carrying her throughout the day. And while she consistently referred to the Bible as a source of comfort, retail therapy was always second on the list to soothe her soul.
Mary is survived by sister Bonnie (Cliff Gardner); brother Wayne Berry; two daughters, Michelle (Ed Lancaster Jr.) and Sherry (Wayne Heggemeier Jr.); six grandchildren, Casey, Chelsea, Breanna, Heather, Noah and Riley Asa; and four great-grandchildren, Taryn, Shiloh, Matilda and Cooper.
Much gratitude is given to Brighton Hospice for the excellent care they provided our mother and to Hunt & Son Funeral Home for assisting in cremation services.

Per our mother’s request, there will be no funeral service or visitation. However, a private family celebration of life will be conducted at a later date.
